Your boudoir experience with us is designed to feel personal, fun, and unforgettable — from the first conversation to your reveal session.

Before your boudoir session

Every boudoir session is guided, unrushed, and built around your comfort. Here’s how it typically unfolds.

We start with a conversation. Before your session, you’ll receive a short survey that helps us get to know you. It covers everything from how you want to feel during your session to what you’re drawn to visually, along with anything you want us to be mindful of.

From there, we build a mood board based on your answers. This becomes a shared reference point and helps shape the tone, styling, and creative direction of your session. You don’t need to arrive with a plan or know how to pose. We’ll take care of the planning so you can simply show up and settle in.

Everything we do before the session is designed to remove guesswork and create a sense of ease once the camera comes out.

Day of your session

The day starts slow and easy. You’ll arrive, settle in, and begin with hair and makeup while we ease into the day together. There’s time to breathe, talk things through, and get comfortable before the camera ever comes out.

Once we start shooting, everything is guided. We’ll demonstrate poses, help with small adjustments, and move at a pace that feels natural. There’s no rush and no pressure to get it “right.” We’ll take breaks as needed, change things up when it feels right, and check in often.

We play music throughout the session to help set the tone and keep things relaxed. The playlist is curated from our clients’ recommendations over time and is designed to put you in the right mindset for this kind of shoot. It helps take the edge off, gives the session a natural rhythm, and makes the whole experience feel a little more effortless.

You’re always in control of what we create. If something doesn’t feel like you, we adjust. The goal isn’t to perform or push past your limits. It’s to stay present, feel supported, and have an experience that’s genuinely fun.

After the session

After your session, we take time to carefully retouch your images. For all packages, this process takes about two to three weeks. We keep retouching natural and true to you, focusing on polish rather than heavy editing.

Once everything is ready, we’ll schedule an in-person viewing where you’ll see your photos for the first time. This is where we walk through the images together and select the ones that will go into the prints or book included in your package. There’s no rush and no pressure. We’ll guide you through the process and help you choose what feels right.

FAQ’s

I’ve never done anything like this. Is that okay?

Yes. Most of the people we photograph have never done a boudoir session before. You do not need experience, confidence, or a plan walking in. We guide you through everything, step by step and we promise you’re only going to love the way you look, but the way you feel.

Do I need to know how to pose?

No. Posing is fully guided. We demonstrate, adjust, and direct throughout the session so you are never left wondering what to do. We’ll show you photo, and in some cases video references to show you how to move and when to connect with the camera. You can focus on being present while we handle the details.

What if I feel awkward or nervous?

That’s completely normal. Feeling unsure at the beginning is part of the process, not a problem to solve. Sessions are unrushed and collaborative, and we check in often so you feel comfortable as things unfold. You’ll also be seeing confidence boosting sneak peeks as we go.

What should I wear?

You do not need to figure this out on your own. Before your session, we help with wardrobe ideas and styling guidance. Many people bring a mix of lingerie, layers, and personal pieces, some even do their session fully clothed. There is no right or wrong choice.

Is hair and makeup included?

Yes. Professional hair and makeup styling is included in all our session experiences. It is part of helping you feel prepared and taken care of from the moment you arrive.

Who will see my photos?

Your images are private. Nothing is shared publicly without your explicit written permission. You are always in control of who has access, what is shared, and what remains just for you.

Do you retouch the images?

Yes. All selected images are professionally retouched with care. Our approach keeps skin natural and true to you rather than overly smoothed or artificial.

Can I bring someone with me?

Absolutely. You’re welcome to bring a friend or support person as long as they’re over 18. A lot of people find that having privacy during the session helps them relax more fully, but if having someone there makes you feel more comfortable, that’s completely fine too.

How much do people typically spend?

Our sessions are offered as thoughtfully structured packages. Each package includes the core elements of the experience, with optional add-ons available if you want to customize further. We’ll walk through the details ahead of time so you know exactly what to expect, without pressure or surprises.

How do I know if this is right for me?

If you are drawn to a calm, guided experience that values creativity and authenticity over trends, this is likely a good fit. You do not need permission, a milestone, or a specific reason. Curiosity is enough to start the conversation.

How long should I plan for the shoot?

Plan to set aside most of the day so nothing feels rushed. Hair and makeup usually takes about one to two hours. If we’re shooting on location, we’ll also factor in drive and setup time. The photoshoot itself typically lasts around three hours. We only schedule one session per day so we can move at a relaxed pace and give you our full attention.

Do you have a studio?

Not in the traditional sense. Because our sessions are creative and personalized, we don’t work out of a single standing studio. We like to mix things up. Most of our sessions are done on location, often outdoors. Utah gives us a lot to work with. We also shoot in high-end hotel rooms, Airbnbs, and sometimes in clients’ homes.
That said, we do have access to studio spaces if that’s the look you want. If a studio session feels right for you, we’ll absolutely go that direction.

Where are you based?

We’re based in Lehi, Utah, but our work isn’t tied to one place. We travel frequently for sessions and photograph all over the state. Many of our shoots are planned around locations that feel meaningful or visually striking, whether that’s somewhere outdoors, a city setting, or a space that already feels like home to you.
We approach sessions with a destination mindset. Location is part of the creative process, not just a backdrop, and we’re comfortable building a shoot around wherever the story makes the most sense.

Who will be my photographer?

We’re a family-run team. I’m the photographer, and yes — I am a man. My wife works alongside me as my assistant and hair stylist, and our daughter is our go-to makeup artist.
How we show up on shoot day is always shaped around what makes you feel most comfortable. Some clients prefer fewer people on set, and in those cases I’m the only person present. Most of our clients, however, choose to have both my wife and me there, and when professional makeup is part of the session, our daughter joins us as well. Having a female hype team on set often helps people relax more quickly and feel at ease throughout the experience.
There’s no single “right” setup. We’ll talk through your preferences ahead of time and build the session around what feels best for you.
What matters most to us is creating a space rooted in trust, respect, and clear communication — so you feel comfortable, supported, and fully in control from start to finish.

Thinking
about it?
That’s usually
how it starts.

You don’t need a plan or a reason. Just curiosity. We’ll take it from there.
